Well, we showed up two days early to collaborate with our friend Wasko, visual projection extraordinaire. Using two 8 ft tall human figure cut outs designed by me and Tom (originally used on our Folly fire mural), Nick Wasko mounted them on top of the stage, mapped the shapes and made the coolest projection show we have ever seen! It was an awesome collaboration. Pictures to come soon.
The festival was scheduled to take place on the Saturday, but for an extra 10$ patrons could attend on Friday night to watch a live stream of the Grateful Deads 50th anniversary "Fare Thee Well" tour. It was here we learned that the organizers had built an art stage specifically for us to play on. And THEN they provided us with some plywood and paint to design a mural. What a treat! So we painted an homage to a rare and favourite late night visitor - The Luna Moth - during an awesomely historic set of the Grateful Dead.
