And the Dead-Gods said
"Let there be Jam, and the Art will follow"
If you are involved at all with the live music scene here in Fredericton or New Brunswick at large, you have probably heard a little bit about this semi-regular jam happening at the Capital Complex in the Wilser's Room.
Featuring some of Fredericton's favourite local musicians, the sum of their individual talents exudes an awesome aroma of jam band pheromones to the dance floor. Like the little worker bees we are, the No Fun Zone was unsurprisingly attracted to this mother of fun, local times with friends.
I mean really, it's a 10 minute walk to the bar with a couple of bags stashed with our live painting kit, a canvas and a trusty easel. So off we go, to make art in a tiny little bar with a big heart. I think we are up to gig #15 with this crew.
